Wi-Fi where you actually sit

Slow Wi-Fi, black spots or a router in the garage? We test first, then fix the in-home network.

Wi-Fi health check — $150

Credited towards repair or upgrade work completed during the same visit.

Sound familiar?

Good internet. Poor Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi drops out in the back rooms

The living room works. The bedrooms and study lose signal.

The router is in the garage cabinet

A metal cabinet can weaken the signal before it reaches the house.

Fast plan, slow Wi-Fi

Your incoming internet speed may be fine. We compare wired and Wi-Fi results.

Unused data points in the walls

We find where the outlets lead, test them and put suitable cabling to use.

A new home needs connecting

We check the router, Wi-Fi and existing wiring before you settle in.

Working from home is unreliable

Video calls, printers and devices need a dependable connection.

How we work

How our Wi-Fi check works

We work out whether the issue is your incoming connection or the Wi-Fi around the home.

  1. 01

    Test the connection

We compare a wired test at suitable network equipment with your Wi-Fi performance.

  2. 02

    Walk the rooms

We check the office, living areas and rooms where the signal drops.

  3. 03

    Check the equipment

We look at router position, data outlets, cabling and any existing mesh units.

  4. 04

    Explain the options

You get clear findings and a price before any extra work starts.

What the fix might be

Move the router into the house

Your router might be trapped in a garage cabinet. We check whether existing Ethernet can bring it into a better room. We also plan how the other outlets connect.

See router relocation →

Use existing data outlets

We test wall points, find their cabinet connections and connect suitable outlets for TVs, offices and access points.

See data points and Ethernet →

Install mesh or access points

Extra Wi-Fi points help where one router cannot cover the home. Wired backhaul may improve reliability between units.

Get a new home online

We check installed data points, connect your own router and configure Wi-Fi. Your internet provider handles service activation.

Beyond the house

A shed or granny flat may need its own link. We assess the buildings before choosing cables or a wireless bridge.

Wi-Fi questions we're asked

Why is my Wi-Fi slow when my internet is fine?
Distance, brick walls, router placement and metal cabinets may weaken Wi-Fi. We compare wired and wireless tests before recommending a fix.
Can you move my router out of the garage cabinet?
Often, if your NBN connection type and existing data outlets allow it. We also check whether the relocated router can feed other outlets back at the cabinet.
Can you move the NBN box?
NBN-owned network equipment is managed through your provider. We can assess moving your own router instead.
Can you use data outlets already in the house?
Yes, if the outlets and cabling test as suitable. We map, connect and test them.
Do I need mesh or more data cabling?
Mesh can improve coverage within a home. Ethernet backhaul can help where walls weaken the link between units.
Will mesh reach the detached shed?
Not reliably in every case. We assess a suitable wired connection or dedicated building-to-building link.
What if the problem is with my provider?
We explain what the tests show so you can raise the findings with your provider. We don't claim to repair their network.
Is the $150 visit fee taken off the repair?
Yes. The $150 is credited against repair or upgrade work completed during the same visit. If no work goes ahead, the visit fee applies.
