Overnight checks
To see the stable at 2am, the camera, the light, the network and the recorder all need to be working at 2am. We plan all four together. A cheap cloud camera on the house Wi-Fi usually can't do that.

CAMERAS FOR HORSE & RURAL PROPERTIES
Cameras for stable aisles, yards, foaling where that view is appropriate, gates, floats, sheds, equipment yards, entrances, paddock access and remote buildings.
We start with what you need to see, not how many cameras. The aisle, the yard and a foaling stall each need a different view. A gate on the road may have no cable. A stable past the house Wi-Fi needs a bridge before its camera is any use.
