What's on the pole
~3 m galvanised pole where suitable.
Camera (PTZ or fixed) and a directional bridge radio up top.
Adjustable galvanised solar frame.
Lockable weather-resistant enclosure (LiFePO4 + BMS, MPPT, DC protection, fused distribution, regulated supply, PoE/DC conversion, network gear, isolation).
Footing to suit ground, wind and site.
Worked example only: a low-power camera up to ~12 W, radio up to ~5 W, design max ~25.5 W, ~0.61 kWh/day before losses, ~300-400 W solar (e.g. 2 x 200 W), 100-120 Ah 12.8 V LiFePO4, ~30 A MPPT.
Final sizing depends on camera, radio, recording, orientation, shading, winter output, autonomy, latitude, wind loading, pole position.
Network Powered (240 V available) from $1,890.
Solar Fixed from $2,490.
Solar PTZ from $2,990.
ColourPro Night from $3,290.
Multi-pole site design (quote).
From prices exclude major civil work, trenching, unusual footings, difficult access or very large solar.
A Starlink dish is never mounted on a ground pole or a yard pole. The pole carries cameras and radios only.
Driveway and entry
A pole at the driveway covers the entry when a cable from the house will not reach. The camera looks along the drive, and the footage records back at the property.

Sheds, machinery and tanks
The same pole can cover a shed, machinery and a water tank. We place it for that view, then link it back to the recorder.

How it gets back to the house
The camera and radio sit at the top. The solar frame and the enclosure sit on the pole. The footing is in the ground.

On your phone
Pole camera, bridge, radio link, building bridge, PoE switch, NVR, app.
Power
Solar into the MPPT, the battery and BMS, then protection, fusing, the regulated supply and PoE or DC to the camera and radio.
On the pole
The pole gives the camera its power and its radio link. You choose the camera to suit the night and the view.

Questions
- Will a brighter camera show me a face at the gate?
- Not always. A good night camera gives you a clear, usable picture of the area. It isn't a promise to identify a face or a number plate at any distance.
- How do I ask for a camera plan?
- Tell us the property, how many cameras and what you want to see. We'll reply with a plan.
