Starlink Standard dish on a flat roof.
Caravan

How typical caravan Starlink setups come together.

We'll add real caravan jobs here as we complete them. For now, here's how typical setups go.

Touring van that moves every few days

Example scenario, not a real customer. A couple heading north for winter want internet at free camps with less to set up each time. Their Starlink Standard dish goes on a Camp Stand they can move out of the shade, and the cable route is agreed with them before we start. The Standard dish comes with a mains power supply, so to run it from the battery we supply a DC converter suited to it. If the converter isn't a Starlink part, Starlink's warranty won't cover problems it causes. Their standard setup is for use while parked. Price: the install, the DC converter unit, fitting and the mount, shown in the quote.

On-site van with power at the park

Example scenario, not a real customer. A van stays on a permanent site with mains power. The dish is set up clear of a tall tree and the neighbour's annexe, the cable comes in through the van's existing entry point, and the Starlink power supply that comes with the kit plugs into the van's power point. Price: the install and the mount, shown in the quote.

Weekender that camps under trees

Example scenario, not a real customer. A family likes shady bush sites. Instead of a dish on the roof, they keep the dish portable on a Camp Stand, and the cable route is agreed with them before we start. We supply an inverter so the Starlink power supply can run from the battery. Price: the install, the inverter unit, fitting and any extras, shown in the quote after we see the van.
