Nyora – Starlink replacing NBN fixed wireless

Nyora, Victoria

In Nyora, out on the edge of South Gippsland, this household moved off NBN fixed wireless and onto Starlink. We fitted a tripod mount on the corrugated roof, secured to the existing roof screws and braced for wind, which gives the dish a clear view of the sky above the gum trees. The cable runs neatly down the roof line into the house. For rural homes where fixed wireless isn't keeping up, Starlink is a strong alternative.
