WHY COLOURPRO FOR RURAL PROPERTIES?
A rural yard after dark isn't a suburban street under a lamp. Infrared gives a black-and-white picture. A spotlight or hybrid light adds colour only while the light is on. ColourPro uses a large sensor and an F1.0 lens to keep the picture in colour in low light.
It still looks like night. You get a clearer, more useful picture of the yard, not a daytime scene, and not a promise to identify someone at any distance.
Infrared, light-assisted colour and ColourPro: three different pictures.
VINCONNECT isn't endorsed by TP-Link or VIGI.
Questions
- Will a brighter camera show me a face at the gate?
- Not always. A good night camera gives you a clear, usable picture of the area. It isn't a promise to identify a face or a number plate at any distance.
- Does digital zoom count as optical zoom?
- No. Digital zoom just enlarges the picture you already have. Optical zoom uses the lens to get closer. The Reolink RLC-843A has 5x optical zoom. The VIGI C540S doesn't.
- How do I ask for a camera plan?
- Tell us the property, how many cameras and what you want to see. We'll reply with a plan.
