Starlink installation in Longwarry

Longwarry is a Gippsland railway town of about 2,400 people, 83 km south-east of Melbourne, between Bunyip and Drouin. The railway reached it in 1878, and Donald Fraser's sawmill and Witton's brickworks came in the 1880s. A dairy co-operative formed in 1921, and the milk factory on the old brickworks site has been the town's big employer ever since. By the 1950s Longwarry, Drouin and Warragul supplied a large share of Melbourne's milk. The Princes Freeway now bypasses the town.
