Starlink installation in Morwell

Morwell sits in the middle of the Latrobe Valley, about 152 km east of Melbourne. With about 14,400 people, it's the administrative centre of the City of Latrobe and its second-biggest town after Traralgon. The district was settled through pastoral runs such as Hazelwood and Maryvale in the 1840s, and brown coal later shaped its industry. The centenary rose garden in the town centre won an award in 2009, and the International Rose Garden Festival has run since 2018.
