Starlink installation in Inverloch

Inverloch is a coastal town of about 6,500 people on Anderson Inlet, 143 km south-east of Melbourne. It's known for the calm water of the inlet, which is popular for swimming, kitesurfing and windsurfing, and for surfing and fishing on the ocean side. It was once a port that shipped Wonthaggi coal to Melbourne. Australia's first dinosaur bone, the Cape Paterson Claw, was found in 1903 near Eagles Nest, along the coast road toward Cape Paterson.

Internet in Inverloch

In the town centre it's mostly NBN fibre to the premises (FTTP), for example on Phillip Street and Venus Street. Further out, on the rural roads, addresses fall in NBN fixed wireless areas. Out of town, where fixed wireless can struggle, Starlink is the usual step up. In town it suits homes on a slow line.

Travel

About $91 travel on top of the install.
