Double-storey and access

A two-storey wall is a different booking from a single-storey house. So is a locked side gate, a dog that can reach the ladder, or a roof we cannot safely stand on. Tell us before the day.

Book the storey you have

Double-storey work uses different ladders, time and judgement. If the booking is silent and we arrive to a two-storey install, we may reschedule or quote the difference before continuing. Split-level and steep-pitch roofs should be mentioned up front — a photo in the enquiry is enough.

What ‘access’ means

We need clear ground for the ladder, an adult on site, and pets secured. If body corporate rules limit a roof mount, tell us before the day. On a horse property, tell us which paddocks to stay out of and where the dish can sit clear of the yards.

Roofs we will not work

Wet slate, broken tiles, advanced rust, no safe anchor, or a structure that moves underfoot. A tripod or fascia mount is often the cleaner answer. We will say so rather than leave you with a leaking roof.

Questions

The estimator did not ask how many storeys.
The full quote does. Use Get my price for the install. Tell us the number of storeys before we book the day.
